My boyfriend and I decided to create our own boot camps for one another this past weekend. He was in charge of a one hour workout Sat, and I was in charge of Sunday. He got so motivated and really impressed me by buying two different sized kettle bells, orange cones, a stopwatch, and had a TRX package shipped to him. His workout was intense, but what really made me laugh is when I brought out your yellow worksheet entitled "The workout you love to hate"! He thought I was crazy that all those exercises could be done in an hour, on top of the 25 minute cardio workout you gave us in class before we began the yellow paper. I had jump ropes ready for us, ankle bands, a medicine ball in place of a basketball, and weights. He managed to get through the entire yellow sheet in a little over 35 minutes and felt great!!! I just wanted to let you know that your bootcamp is really affecting a lot of people in a very positive way! I wanted to thank you for still managing to kick my butt, even when you are not present!!! We are both a pretty sore today, but feel great about showing each other different exercises

When I look at it and the word greatness, I will think of boot camp and how you have pulled me out of a rut and gently (HAHA) placed me in a healthier place. I'd choose medium on the shirt size...Thanks for getting me there too!! I know I groan and complain, esp. during those ab exercises, but I really do appreciate the workout. Thanks for all you do for us to whip us into shape. I know it's not always a joy to get up that early & go through the routine over and over. I just want you to know that I appreciate you. I feel like I have a great start already, and you really help all the ladies by being very encouraging.  Usually, I give up pretty easily, especially when it comes to running, but I'm trying to push myself.

I have to say I initially signed up for the class to kind of "kick start" myself into training consistently again.  But I must say as athletic as I am, your class definitely challenges my endurance.  I have never been a fan of group classes, although I taught them forever, I hardly ever took any.  Your class is not the same, and I feel I get a lot more out of it than I thought I would, I think it's a great class.

Thanks so much for a great 3 weeks.  I feel great!!!!  I never got bored with the workouts (although the burpees I could do without).  I’m going to miss it next week.  My knees will thank me for taking it down a notch this coming week. 

You do a great job of mixing it up and keeping us challenged.  I feel great, my clothes are looser and I have more energy.

I can honestly say that I have enjoyed the past two days at Boot Camp... I've had a huge slap in the face reminding me of how out of shape I am, but I am enjoying the process, nonetheless.  My 13 month old son is going to have to learn how to walk this week since I am no longer going to be able to carry him!  (Especially after todays shoulder work.) Thanks again for the opportunity to regain a level of fitness after 3 years of being pregnant/nursing!  I might crawl into class tomorrow... but I'll be there!

This fitness and weight loss program is honestly the best gift I have given myself. It is motivating, stimulating and challengingeverything my old routine lacked. It jumpstarts my day and I have met a wonderful group of women from all walks of life. I receive dedicated personal instruction -  I couldn’t ask for anything more in an exercise program. You need to do this for yourself.

 I was completely bored with exercising. I have exercised my whole life and needed a change. It's great to be excited about my workout program again. I'm beginning by 3rd camp soon!

The Adventure Boot Camp is simply the best! I particularly like the variety of activities and the sense of fun that's built into the program. I really felt like I was getting the maximum benefit out of the program. I highly recommend the program to anyone wanting to improve their fitness and overall health.

I have to admit I was a little skeptical about something entitled "Boot Camp". I envisioned a lot of yelling and not the most nurturing environment. However, since day one of camp, I have been nothing but thrilled to wake up and hang out with my newly acquainted friends. After two camps, I have learned so many new exercises that have stirred muscles I didn't know I had! The biggest change for me has occurred in my arms, hips and abs. I feel so much leaner and firm. I'm into a size 4 and my energy level has seen a significant boost. So, whether it's interval training with weights or yoga and Pilates, I look forward to every morning's new adventure.


Wow! What can I say about Boot Camp. I can say so much I don't know where to begin. I am 32 years old and have tried many different things to try and get myself into shape. Including working out with a personal trainer that cost me ALOT of money and just ended up hurting my knees. When I thought about doing Boot Camp the idea of getting up to workout at 5:30 in the morning freaked me out a little. Well, I am currently involved in my second camp. After the first 4 week camp I noticed a difference in my body composition that I never had prior. I have never really had a weight problem, yet was never really toned either. My legs and butt were on the flabby side, and as I get older I noticed it getting worse. Right now I feel so good in my clothes - I can't believe it. People have noticed a change in my body. My hips had started getting little fat pockets on the sides and those are GONE! I am amazed at the results of the training that John gives us. Getting up and working out at 5:30 has been easy to adjust to and believe it or not, I have lots of energy throughout the day.  I I love camp and I love what is happening to my body as a result of it!
